Invoice Management System (IMS) Offline Tool Launched
Starting from the October 2024 tax period, the GST portal introduced the Invoice Management System (IMS). This system allows taxpayers to interact with invoices uploaded by their suppliers via GSTR-1, GSTR-1A, or IFF, giving them options to accept, reject, or mark these records as pending.
To further enhance convenience and simplify compliance for taxpayers, the GST system has now rolled out an IMS Offline Tool. This new tool, built on MS Excel, is user-friendly and designed to help taxpayers efficiently manage both individual and large volumes of invoices.
