Tracking GST Identification Numbers on the Government Portal

As of July 14, 2017, businesses that have recently transitioned to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system now possess the capability to track their provisional identification numbers. This function is accessible through the government’s GST portal.

To obtain a GSTIN, an applicant simply needs to provide their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Furthermore, this tracking mechanism allows both distributors and consumers to verify the GST identification numbers of their respective dealers.
